Sunrise Coast Dance Academy

About Sunrise Coast

We opened in 2014 with one studio, twelve dancers and a second-hand piano. Today more than 180 children and adults dance with us every week, but the idea has not changed: a school where every dancer is known by name and every step is celebrated.

Our teachers

Miss Hannah

Principal and ballet teacher

Hannah grew up dancing in Lowestoft and trained in London before performing with a touring ballet company. She opened Sunrise Coast Dance Academy in 2014 with a simple aim: a school where every child feels they belong, whether they dance for fun or dream of a career. She still teaches most of the ballet classes herself.

Two purpose-built studios in a converted maltings on Commercial Road: sprung floors, full-length mirrors, barres at two heights and proper acro mats. A bright waiting area with hot drinks, free Wi-Fi and a view into Studio 1. Free parking outside and step-free access throughout.

Safeguarding

Every teacher holds an enhanced DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding training, and there is always a paediatric first aider on site. Our designated safeguarding lead is Miss Hannah. Policies for safeguarding, photography and data protection are available at reception and on request.
