Who we are. Sunrise Coast Dance Academy, Studio 2, The Old Maltings, Commercial Road, Lowestoft NR32 0AA. We are the data controller for the information you give us. Contact us at hello@sunrisecoastdance.example.

What we collect. When you book a trial or send a message we collect your name, contact details, your dancer's first name and age, and anything you choose to tell us. When you enrol we also collect emergency contacts and relevant medical information.

Why. To run classes safely, reply to your enquiry, invoice you and keep you informed about your dancer's classes, exams and shows. We rely on our contract with you and, for medical details, your explicit consent.

Our online assistant. Questions you type to the assistant on this site are processed by an AI service to generate an answer. Conversations may be stored so we can improve answers and follow up on trial requests. Please do not share medical or financial details with the assistant; use the form or speak to us in person instead.

Who we share it with. Our website and email systems are hosted by trusted providers under written contracts. Exam boards receive candidate names and dates of birth when you choose to enter an exam. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted after 12 months. Enrolment records are kept for the time your dancer is with us and 6 years afterwards for accounting purposes.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
